(Literary) New Years Resolutions - 2016

Every bibliophile has one - the (literary) New Year's Resolution.
Here are mine...

1.) I'm restarting this book blog.  I've missed it!

2.) I'm hoping to read more non-fiction than I have in the past which shouldn't be too hard since I normally read only fiction.

And, in the spirit of making huge sweeping resolutions online, I'm taking it up a notch.  Below are the twelve books I plan on reading this year (in addition to my fiction addiction.)  One for every month of the year!

February - Yes Please
March - I Am Malawa
October - #Girlboss

And while I'm at it  I encourage you to join me!  Let's chat on here or via twitter, facebook or insta - #bibliophilebelles

I may not be any good at real life book clubs, but maybe a virtual one is all I need to succeed.

  1. Happy 2016! I love your literary resolutions - back to blogging and more nonfiction! Sounds like a plan to me :) Now I see what you mean when you mentioned that Year of Yes would be part of your literary resolution - cool! I just finished the book and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to find out what you think of it. I'm thinking of copying you and picking twelve books that I will read this year - one for each month. I love that you chose nonfiction - especially as you picked so many of the books I want to read. I bought the Luna last year, but have yet to read it. Have you started it yet? Let me know what you think of it. Great post!!

    1. Crossroads of Should and Must is a quick read and it's wonderful! It motivated me to start blogging again and refocus my energy this coming year to the things I am passionate about. Wonderful way to start the new year! My Luna review will be on the blog soon. Stay tuned!
